I work on behalf of several translation agencies in the UK and abroad while also providing editing, proofreading and report writing services for direct clients in the UK. In addition, I work as a précis writer for the International Atomic Energy Agency, which involves producing summary records of multilingual meetings on areas such as nuclear security and technical cooperation. Last year, I added copywriting to my services; recent projects have included writing a series of 10 blog posts for a start-up, producing summaries of virtual board meetings and writing social media copy and website content. Through over three and a half years in the translation industry, I have gained experience in the fields of events, public relations, marketing and travel and tourism. My wider interests include international development, human rights, social care and mental health. I graduated from the University of Bristol with a first-class degree in Modern Languages and subsequently obtained my master's degree in Translation and Professional Language Skills at the University of Bath in 2018. As part of my studies, I completed a two-month placement at the United Nations in Vienna, where I worked in both the editing and translation sections.
