Bio
I was born and brought up in the northeastern region of Mailand China, to wit, Harbin, a beautiful and freezing cold city which has been called "the Eastern Paris" thanks to so many dramatic and somewhat romantic historical events have had taken place here. I speak simplified Chinese as my mother tongue with the accent which could be rated as one of the best pronunciations that are closest to Standard Chinese(Putong Hua).
I graduated from Harbin Medical University, majored in Public Health Administration, and later on, obtained an MBA specialized in International Business from Perth, Australia. Now I'm living in Seoul, Korea, a very dynamic, cultural, charming and well-developed metropolitan city in the far east. I could speak Korean reasonably fluent as well, as a matter of fact, I've done many interpreting works during the past 10 years for the KR-CH pair, dominantly more than the other two pairs.
I like history and geography, and always, has been fascinated by different people and their culture, history, value and, last but not least, the mouth-watering cuisine. From my point of view, I consider a language far more beyond just verbally speaking the words very well, rather, it is a conveying medium that should be interpreted in each very specific context, that is to say, historical and cultural factors must be taken into account. Therefore, unlike the scientific subject such as mathematics, there is no single correct answer when it comes to translation and interpretation, there's always a better one than the other, and that is exactly what I'm eagerly and assiduously pursuing all the time, the masterpiece of an art.
