Hydraulic operated pump chassis
HFR Chassis 586585 / FA-613-BE
General information
This chassis is equipped with a hydraulic operated pump unit with built-in auxiliary Hatz engine for mechanical drive of the pump. This unit is specially designed for independently pumping out a container using the pump that is driven by an auxiliary motor. This chassis is equipped with an extra overpressure protection to prevent components from damage as well as damage to customer installations.
The chassis is equipped with the following components:
- Hatz diesel engine 2-4L41C
- Gardner & Denver Hydrapak hydraulic system
- Axial Piston / Fixed Displacement Pump KFA / OMR 80
- Hydraulic driven pump driven STP 20/106/10 Lobbe pump
This instruction describes the operation of the systems and also service schedules for workshops. Included are also driver control schedules to be used in daily operation.
Specially for this kind of chassis, it is very important drivers have to handle secure and accurate according instruction manual. The impact of not working according instruction manual can lead into big incidents. It is important too that every equipment check by the driver, is being done proper and on daily schedule as given in the schedules included in this document.
It is important to inform planning at any time in case of an unsafe situation on the equipment. This will prevent us from serious incidents!
Daily check previous to the transport
The driver must before- and after every transport carrying out the following inspections:
- Diesel (fuel) level of the tank. Ensure sufficient fuel (fuel usage approx. 3l/per hour)
- Check oil level of the hydraulic system
- Check oil level of the Hatz Engine
- Pump cabinet must be clean at all times
- Hose are free of leakage and to be stored in hose sleeves
o Clean the hoses in case of product change / commissioned by planning
Content of the pump cabinet
The cabinet must be clean at all times and check the connection on leakage any time. In case of a leakage noticed, please report to planner for assistance.
- The STP pump in which the product is pumped
- The TKW 3’ connection which is being connect to receiving customer tank
- The hydraulic operating valve, 3 positions: suck, neutral, pomp
- Hydraulic pressure gauge, pressure of the hydraulic system “IN” side of the STP pump
- Liquid pressure “OUT” measure outgoing liquid pressure to the receiving tank
Components and operating the Engine
At the frontside right side of the chassis (seen from the backside) is the engine control box located. Inside are the engine controls and the power battery. Behind the safety cover for bikes, the fuel tank is located including level glass.
Above displayed the listed controls the engine:
- It is forbidden to change the settings of the safety valve (SAFETY!!)
- The red warning sign lights when one of the safety systems is being activated. The engine must be reset
- Displayed are two indicators: 1. To show the air filter is dirty, 2 low battery/no charge whilst running engine
Inlet piece / emergency button pump unit
At the backside of the chassis you will find the pomp inlet connection. To this connection the hose from container will be connected
Besides this two hose sleeves are in the chassis mounted for hose storage.
On the left side a emergency button is located for emergency reasons, using this button runs the engine down immediately. (RED BUTTON)
After using the emergency button, the system must be rest. Close valves and set hydraulic operating valve in neutral, turn of engine start/stop switch. Look for the cause before starting over again. when reset of the engine, do not forget to open valves again before starting pumping!
Unload instruction
Pump and hose connections
Before starting unloading, do the following:
1. Check closing drain valve in the pump cabinet, close it when not closed
2. Connect the hose from unloading valve container to the pump inlet connection
3. Connect the unloading hose with pump out connection to the customer receiving tank connection
4. Check all connections again for safety reasons before start pumping
Start Engine
General information before starting the engine:
a. Check fuel level and be sure you have enough for unloading (usage: 3l/h approx.)
b. Check oil level of the engine
c. Check oil level of the hydraulic tank
Start Enging (control box on the right side of the chassis)
1. Turn the key to the right, the engine will run
2. In case of warning lights are activated, please check the system and solve the problem before starting over again
De Engine runs on a preset speed now
Start unloading with the pump
1. Open bottom valve of the container (remind aeration)
2. Check if valve of customer receiving tank is opened.
3. Pull hydraulic speed handle slowly into direction of “UNLOADING” position
4. The pump pressure can be changed by using the hydraulic speed handle until the most ideal speed has been reached. Releasing pressure can be achieved by pushing the speed handle back into direction of position “NEUTRAL”
Other important information:
- the hydraulic pressure of the system does have a max. of 140 bar. In case the system runs over it, the engine will slow down and stop immediate. (emergency reaction) the engine has to be reset before it can be start over again. (remind safety and look for cause)
- at Max. pressure of 140 bar running speed of the pump, the liquid pressure on the “OUT” side of the pump towards receiving tank, will be 5 bar max. (remind the capacity of the receiving tank)
- Important! Standard hoses do have a maximum test pressure of 10bar!! Be careful here
After unloading
1. Secure the hoses are empty and clean before disconnection and storage, prevent from leakage/spills
2. Hydraulic speed handle must be set in Neutral position
3. Close all the valves in reverse order and release connections. Store hoses and cover them with a dust cap
4. Store all adapters and clean the pump cabinet and controls if necessary
5. Clean your operational area and close all the cabinets accordingly
Operating temperature whilst operating pump installations
Because of the use of rotating parts operated by a combustion engine, parts can be hot whilst operating the system. Drivers have to be careful on the presence of hot components and secure themselves by the use of PPE accordingly

Engine air inlet filter:
Before the use of the engine, the air inlet of the filter has to be checked on blockages and presence of dirt. In case of blockages and/or dirt, it may happen the engine will not start or run proper. This can cause unloading issues on a unplanned time during unloading
The Engine oil quality must meet one of the following qualifications:
- ACEA B3/B4 of een hogere kwaliteit
- API CF/CH-4 of een hogere kwaliteit

Informations générales
Ce châssis est équipé d’une pompe à fonctionnement hydraulique et d’un moteur auxiliaire Hatz permettant de manipuler manuellement la pompe. Cet ensemble est spécialement conçu pour effectuer une vidange indépendamment du conteneur grâce à une pompe commandée par un moteur auxiliaire. Ce châssis est équipé d’une protection supplémentaire en cas de surpression afin de protéger les composants d’éventuels dégâts ainsi que les équipements du client.
Le châssis est composé des systèmes suivants :

Cette notice d’utilisation décrit le fonctionnement des systèmes et leur calendrier de maintenance. Il comprend également l’échéancier de contrôle que le conducteur doit utiliser dans son travail quotidien.
Il est très important que les conducteurs manipulent ce genre de châssis en toute sécurité en se référant strictement à la notice d’utilisation. Un mauvais usage peut entrainer de graves incidents. Il est également très important que la vérification de chaque équipement soit faite correctement et quotidiennement par le conducteur, selon les calendriers inclus dans ce document.
Il est important d’informer le planning à chaque utilisation risquée des équipements. Cela permettra d’éviter de sérieux incidents !
Contrôle quotidien avant transport
Avant et après chaque transport, le conducteur doit effectuer les contrôles suivants :
- Niveau de diesel (carburant) du réservoir. S’assurer d’un niveau suffisant (consommation approximative : 3 L par heure)
- Vérification du niveau d’huile du système hydraulique
- Vérification du niveau d’huile du moteur Hatz
- Propreté permanente du cabinet de la pompe
- Les flexibles ne doivent pas avoir de fuite et doivent être rangés dans des porte-tuyaux
o Nettoyer les flexibles à chaque changement de produit / selon le calendrier
Contenu du cabinet de la pompe
Le cabinet doit être nettoyé et le raccord sans fuite à tout moment. En cas de fuite, merci de le rapporter au planning pour assistance.
- Pompe STP dans laquelle le produit est pompé
- Raccord TKW 3’ pour connexion au réservoir de stockage du client
- Jauge de pression hydraulique, pour mesurer la pression arrivant à la pompe STP (IN)
- Pression du liquide, pour mesurer la pression du liquide sortant vers le réservoir de stockage (OUT)
Les composants et le fonctionnement du moteur
La boite de commande du moteur est située à l’avant, sur le côté droit du châssis (vu de dos). A l’intérieur on trouve les commandes du moteur et la batterie. Le réservoir de carburant incluant une jauge de niveau est situé derrière l’aile de roue.
Liste des commandes du moteur ci-dessous :
- Il est interdit de changer les paramètres de la soupape de sécurité (SECURITE !!)
- Un témoin lumineux apparait en rouge quand l’un des systèmes de sécurité est actif. Le moteur doit être réinitialisé.
- Deux indicateurs sont affichés : 1. Pour signaler que le filtre à air est sale, 2. Batterie faible/ne se recharge pas pendant que le moteur tourne
Entrée de la pompe / bouton d’arrêt d’urgence de la pompe
L’entrée de la pompe se trouve à l’arrière du châssis. Le flexible du conteneur-citerne doit être branché dessus.
Deux portes-tuyaux sont également placées sur le châssis, pour le rangement des flexibles.
Le bouton d’appel d’urgence est situé sur le côté gauche. Le moteur s’arrête immédiatement s’il est utilisé. (BOUTON ROUGE)
Après toute utilisation du bouton d’appel d’urgence, le système doit être réinitialisé. Fermer les vannes et mettre la vanne hydraulique sur NEUTRAL (neutre), couper le commutateur du moteur (bouton start/stop). Chercher la cause avant de redémarrer. Au redémarrage du moteur, ne pas oublier de réouvrir les vannes avant de commencer à pomper !
Procédure de déchargement
Raccordement de la pompe et des flexibles
Effectuer les contrôles suivants avant de commencer le déchargement :
1. Vérifier que la vanne hydraulique dans le cabinet de la pompe est bien fermée, la fermer le cas échéant
2. Connecter le flexible de raccordement entre la vanne du conteneur-citerne et l’entrée de la pompe
3. Connecter le flexible de livraison entre la sortie pompe et le réservoir de stockage
4. Pour des raisons de sécurité, vérifier de nouveau tous les branchements avant de commencer à pomper
Démarrage du moteur
Informations générales avant le démarrage du moteur :
a. Vérifier le niveau de carburant et s’assurer qu’il est suffisant pour la vidange (utilisation : environ 3L par heure)
b. Vérifier le niveau d’huile du moteur
c. Vérifier le niveau d’huile du réservoir hydraulique
Démarrage du moteur (boitier de commande sur le côté droit du châssis)
1. Tourner la clef vers la droite, le moteur démarre
2. Si des témoins lumineux apparaissent, merci de vérifier le système et de résoudre le problème avant de tout reprendre du début
Le moteur tourne maintenant à une vitesse présélectionnée.
Démarrer la vidange avec la pompe
1. Ouvrir la vanne arrière du réservoir (air résiduel)
2. Vérifier que la vanne du réservoir de stockage du client est ouverte
3. Tirer lentement le levier de vitesse vers la position UNLOAD (déchargement)
4. La pression de la pompe peut être modifiée avec le levier de vitesse jusqu’à atteindre la vitesse idéale. Pour diminuer la pression, pousser le levier de vitesse vers la position NEUTRAL (neutre)
Autres informations importantes :
- La pression hydraulique maximale du système est de 140 bars. En cas de surpression, le moteur ralentit et s’arrête aussitôt. (système d’urgence) le moteur doit être réinitialisé avant d’être rallumé (rester vigilant et chercher la cause)
- Lorsque la pompe fonctionne à une pression maximale de 140 bars, la pression du liquide en sortie de pompe vers le réservoir de stockage est de 5 bars max. (attention à la capacité du réservoir de stockage)
- Important ! La pression maximale pour des flexibles standards est de 10 bars !! Faire très attention
Après le déchargement
1. Vérifier que les flexibles sont vides ; les nettoyer avant de les débrancher et de les ranger pour éviter les écoulements/fuites
2. Placer le levier de vitesse hydraulique sur la position NEUTRAL (neutre)
3. Refermer toutes les vannes dans l’ordre inverse et déconnecter les branchements. Ranger les flexibles et les fermer avec un bouchon
4. Ranger tous les adaptateurs et nettoyer le cabinet de la pompe, ainsi que les boîtiers de commande si besoin
5. Nettoyer la zone d’opération et refermer tous les coffres
Température de fonctionnement lors des installations de pompage
L’usage de pièces rotatives commandées par un moteur à combustion peut entrainer une surchauffe des pièces quand le système est en fonctionnement. Les conducteurs doivent faire attention à la présence de composants brûlants et se protéger par un usage adéquat des EPI.

Filtre d’arrivée d’air du moteur :
Avant toute utilisation du moteur, vérifier le filtre d’arrivée d’air : il ne doit y avoir ni obstruction, ni saleté. En cas d’obstruction et/ou de saleté, il se peut que le moteur ne démarre pas ou ne fonctionne pas correctement. Cela peut causer des problèmes et des imprévus lors du déchargement.
La qualité de l’huile moteur doit répondre aux critères suivants :
- ACEA B3/B4 de la meilleure qualité
- API CF/CH-4 de la meilleure qualité

Source text - Spanish Dalia Ferreira muestra “Venezuela en Décalage” en Francia
“Venezuela en Décalage” es el nombre de la nueva colección de la artista venezolana Dalia Ferreira que será expuesta en el mes de marzo de 2019 de forma simultánea en las ciudades de Lyon y Valencia en Francia.
La exposición cuenta con un formato nunca antes presentado por la artista: una serie de casi 30 obras con formas de relojes, expuestas en diferentes soportes, acompañados de proyecciones digitales. Una serie de intervenciones artísticas que invitarán a reflexionar alrededor de los conceptos de distancia y de la insalvable atemporalidad entre los venezolanos y sus seres queridos en el exilio.
Una serie inspirada en relojes para unir a venezolanos en el exilio
El fenómeno de la migración en Venezuela es un hecho que está impactando al mundo entero y es hoy en día, una crisis regional en América Latina. En 2019, cerca de 10 millones de venezolanos han debido dejar su país para llegar hasta donde los lleve el aliento. Por vía aérea, en autobús, en cola, a pie, escondidos, despavoridos, desplazados, legales, ilegales, casi fugados.
“Nuestros relojes funcionan con la cuerda de la nostalgia. Algunos los tenemos solares, que en otras latitudes no funcionan por falta de luz. Algunos los llevamos llenos de arena de playa.” Dalia Ferreira.
Además de las 30 obras inspiradas en la estética de relojes y que abordan la nueva relación que establece el migrante venezolano entre las nociones de tiempo y el espacio, habrá una obra audiovisual intervenida artísticamente creada con cincuenta testimonios de venezolanos que participaron en la convocatoria hecha por Ferreira desde su cuenta @daliaferreira en la red social Instagram en el 2018.
“Venezuela en Décalage” es una reflexión sobre la distancia en la que la artista admite sentirse absolutamente involucrada como víctima también de este éxodo que crece cada día sin parar y con el que ella también debe lidiar desde que vive en Francia hace 5 años, mientras su familia sigue y seguirá en Venezuela.
“Es una invitación a detener el tiempo, a pensar que seguimos todos bajo el mismo cielo, con el mismo clima, desayunando las mismas empanadas, es volver a estar en familia y entre amigos, todos juntos vivir la misma hora.” Dalia Ferreira.

« Venezuela en Décalage », c’est le nom de la nouvelle collection de l’artiste vénézuélienne Dalia Ferreira qui sera exposée durant le mois de mars 2019, simultanément dans les villes de Lyon et Valence.
L’exposition se fera sous un format encore jamais présenté par l’artiste : une série de 30 œuvres en forme d’horloges, exposées sur différents supports et accompagnées de projections numériques. Une série d’interventions artistiques qui invitent à réfléchir aux concepts de distance et d’intemporalité, insurmontables, entre les Vénézuéliens et leurs êtres chers dans l’exil.

Le phénomène de la migration au Venezuela représente aujourd’hui une crise régionale en Amérique latine avec des répercussions mondiales. En 2019, près de 10 millions de Vénézuéliens ont dû quitter leur pays pour aller où le vent les porte. En avion, à pied, en autostop, cachés, effrayés, déplacés, légaux ou illégaux, comme des fugitifs.
« Nos horloges battent au rythme de la nostalgie. Certaines sont solaires et ne fonctionnent pas sous d’autres latitudes par manque de lumière. Dans d’autres, nous transportons tout le sable de nos plages. » Dalia Ferreira.
Ces 30 œuvres inspirées de l‘esthétique des horloges prétendent parler de la nouvelle relation qu’établit le migrant vénézuélien avec les notions d’espace et de temps. Viendra s’ajouter une œuvre audiovisuelle et artistique, créée à partir des cinquante témoignages de Vénézuéliens qui ont participé à l’appel de Dalia sur son compte Instagram au cours de l’année 2018.
« Venezuela en Décalage » est une réflexion sur la distance, thème cher à Dalia, et dans lequel elle se sent totalement impliquée. Elle-même victime de cet exode vénézuélien qui ne cesse d’augmenter de jour en jour, elle est arrivée en France il y a quatre ans et c’est un thème avec lequel elle doit composer car toute sa famille est restée et restera au Venezuela.

Combien de fois as-tu regardé l’heure qu’il était dans ton pays d’adoption, et soupiré de tristesse, car au Venezuela, le soleil n’est toujours pas levé ?
Combien de fois par jour ressens-tu que tu vis en-dehors de ton corps, en voyage dans le temps, à imaginer ce que font tes amis, une tante, ton chien, ou bien encore ce voisin dont tu ne pensais pas qu’il te manquerait un jour… ou à essayer d’entendre la musique du rémouleur qui passe dans nos rues ?
Nous les immigrés devrions peut-être avoir des montres à heures partagées, des méridiens communs qui traceraient des parallèles avec nos êtres chers. Nous devrions nous inventer un temps unique, un même soleil, une seule lune. Nous devrions nous inventer une pendule dont le tic-tac serait marqué par les battements du cœur de notre être préféré.
Nos horloges battent au rythme de la nostalgie. Certaines sont solaires, et elles ne fonctionnent pas sous d’autres latitudes par manque de lumière. Et dans d’autres nous y transportons tout le sable des plages.
Certains matins, nous nous réveillons avec des aiguilles plantées dans le cœur, notre horloge interne, et nous devons les rendre à l’horloge de notre nouvelle temporalité.
Mais entre nous et nos affects, il n’y a qu’une seule et même heure en réalité. La notion d’espace-temps confirme que nous sommes nombreux à partager le même instant, où que ce soit sur la planète.
Comme le soleil se lève tôt dans ces lieux auxquels nous n’appartenons pas !

Source text - English VENEZUELA EN DÉCALAGE Dalia Ferreira (Caracas 1966)
Los relojes marcan distintas horas, los kilómetros de tierra y mar, entre países, son de miles, y la nostalgia ya no encuentra manera de medirse. Una llamada, acordar un momento, de un día, de una semana, para poder hablar, para verse y escuchar con un leve retraso es la constante. ¿Y el beso? Se da al aire, no hay roces de mejillas, no hay contacto físico. Falta el abrazo que reconforta, en las buenas y en las no tan buenas.
Las intervenciones en las fotos de Dalia Ferreira muestran a una ciudad que está apretada, que tiene que responder a que el minutero, el segundero, estén en la aposición y rezarle al infinito que haya conexión.
La espera de noticias, malas o buenas. Una simple conversación con los seres que han migrado a otras latitudes y esas líneas que nacen en norte y sur, o al revés, nos explican porque allá es de tarde cuando aquí es de mañana, o de noche.
El golpe de esta realidad es tan fuerte que nadie escapa al dolor que produce, a esa presión en el pecho, a esa tristeza que a veces nos asalta porque no estamos juntos, porque no podemos conversar cuando lo deseamos.
Ferreira, con su talento en la fotografía, con ese arte que logra imprimir en cada imagen nos presenta, en su trabajo, cómo actúa este diferencial horario, cómo se siente quien está lejos de la casa materna. Cómo es la vida sin las reuniones con risas, llantos, comidas, sobremesas.
Qué temprano amanece en los lugares a los que no pertenecemos, dice Dalia. Qué tristeza siento de no ver a mis hermanos, sobrinos, hijos, nietos, dice quien se va, quien se queda.
El dolor por no saber si regresarán a la patria, tampoco cuándo. Esas preguntas son las agujas de cualquier reloj al que le tenemos que seguir para poder acudir al celular, o al ordenador, y lograr el encuentro, el encuentro virtual.
No son simples fotos, obras de arte, son expresiones captadas por Dalia Ferreira, intervenidas y de corazón expuesto a una realidad que aflige a millones. Son unas imágenes que nos llegan al alma, que nos mueven todos esos filamentos nerviosos y provocan el llanto.
Esta muestra maravillosa, fantástica, repleta de talento, es la historia de una época de Venezuela. Cada cuadro es un pedazo de esa historia que se escribe con colores, en las que la artista le da tonos de esperanza porque el deseo de hablar, de contar, de estar con los seres queridos impulsa, crea.
Maravillosa la muestra de Dalia Ferreira, sublime canto a una esperanza, mientras en la hora plasmada se vive ese Décalage que nos obliga a depender del encuentro a horas diferentes.

Les horloges rythment des heures différentes. Les milliers de kilomètres de terre et de mer qui séparent les pays ne permettent plus de mesurer la nostalgie. S’appeler, convenir d’un moment, d’un jour ou d’une semaine pour simplement pouvoir se parler, se voir et s’écouter… et avoir toujours un léger retard. Et le baiser ? Il flotte dans l’air. Pas de frottements de joues, ni de contact physique. Il manque le câlin qui réconforte, dans les bons moments comme dans les moins bons.
Sur les photographies de Dalia Ferreira se dessine une ville à l’étroit, une ville qui doit faire concorder l’aiguille des secondes avec celle des minutes, et prier l’infini pour qu’il y ait une connexion. L’attente de nouvelles, bonnes ou mauvaises. Une simple conversation avec ceux qui ont migré vers d’autres latitudes. Et ces lignes, au nord et au sud, qui nous expliquent pourquoi le jour se lève ou se couche là-bas, quand ici il fait nuit.
Le retour à la réalité est un choc. Lorsque vous ne pouvez être ensemble, ou ne pouvez converser comme vous le désirez, c’est une douleur, une pression sur la poitrine, une tristesse qui vous prend à la gorge. Personne n’y échappe.
Dalia, avec son talent de photographe, à travers cet art qu’elle imprime à chaque image, présente dans son travail le jeu de ce décalage horaire, la sensation de celui qui est loin de chez lui, la vie sans les rendez-vous autour des rires, larmes, repas et desserts partagés.
« Comme le jour se lève tôt dans les lieux auxquels nous n’appartenons pas ! », nous dit-elle. « Et quelle tristesse de ne pas voir ses frères, neveux, fils, petits-fils », nous dit celui qui s’en va, comme celui qui reste.
C’est la douleur de ne pas savoir s’ils reviendront au pays, ni quand ils reviendront. Ces questions sont les aiguilles de toutes les horloges que nous devons suivre pour pouvoir répondre présents au téléphone ou à l’ordinateur, et ainsi réussir la rencontre virtuelle.
Ce ne sont pas de simples photos, de simples œuvres d’art. Ce sont des expressions captées par Dalia, des vérités palpables, ressenties et exposées. C’est une réalité vécue par des millions de personnes. Ce sont des images qui nous touchent à l’âme et nous émeuvent, provoquant le chagrin.
Cette exposition merveilleuse, fantastique, remplie de talent est aussi l’histoire d’une époque au Venezuela. Chaque tableau est un morceau de cette histoire qui s’écrit avec des couleurs auxquelles l’artiste donne les tons d’espoir. Le désir de parler, raconter et vivre avec les êtres qui nous sont chers donne l’impulsion, la création.

Tom: From the reception to the shipment of goods!
Alis: The training is divided into 8 modules. Each of them details a step of logistics, from reception to shipment.
Alis: The current module is about General Rules!
Alis: The 2nd module is about Reception: from unloading to putaway, with goods receipt, quality control and the missing parts process.
Tom: The 3rd module is: Putaway, or the dock to stock process! And the cross-docking process for missing parts.
Alis: The 4th module covers: Storage, how to organize the warehouse and the internal movements.
Tom: The 5th module covers Inventory count, to check the alignment between the physical stock and the system stock.
Alis: The 6th module covers Picking and Line Feeding, to have a view of kitting activity and the mirror zone.
Tom: The 7th module covers Packing & Shipping, good practices to pack and ship materials.

Lia: Keep in mind those QCD targets, they encourage you to be smart about the processes and to get a better understanding of the stakes.

Alis : Cette formation est divisée en 8 modules. Chacun correspond à une étape de logistique, depuis la réception jusqu'à l'envoi.
Alis : Ce premier module parle des règles générales !
Alis : Le module n°2 parle de la réception des marchandises, depuis le déchargement jusqu'à l'entrée en stock, avec la réception des marchandises, le contrôle de qualité et les procédés des parties manquantes.
