In Burundi, as throughout the world, education is a universal right. Every child of school age has the right to benefit from this good guaranteed for all without exception by all governments in the world as enshrined in the charter of the United Nations for those who ratified it. Since 2005, the then President understood this and decreed free education for all primary school children with immediate effect. (My own text)
