I'm a Sudanese fellow. I've been keen to learning and teaching English ever since my schooldays. That love has develpoed lately in the love of translating news items and other stuff. Many times I'm confronted with challenges of transmitting SL items/topics into TL ones. In 1999 I got my PhD in linguistics and the specialized thesis is titled as Linguistc problems of translation from Arabic to English with reference to journalism. Sometimes, when my students couldn't digest what I say, I try to use translation as a method of communicating the message / lesson. I love to translate and being involved in translation. At present I'm intending to participate in a translation conference with one of the problems of translation.
