I have worked as a freelance translator since 2005, three years after graduating from the University of Buenos Aires as a certified English translator. In 2007 I also graduated as an environmental Geographer from the same university. As a result I started working early on with environmental consultancy firms, translating a wide array of documents related to the oil and gas industry and civil engineering, from Spanish into English and from English into Spanish. Later on, in 2011 I started doing translations for the Social and Environmental Unit of the Rural Development Office in Argentina, under different ministries. I continue working directly with them coordinating high-volume translation projects in climate change adaptation and rural development. Indirectly, I have translated for the telecommunications, food, health-care, transportation, insurance and risk management, and building and construction sectors. |
