Served as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Guatemala. I learned to speak Spanish fluently over 2 years of complete immersion in the language even living with native spanish speakers who did not speak english. Public speaking and reading and writing in spanish were a daily occurance.
