Don has a number of questions and items he would like your help with before he
returns to site, they are
* A dedicated phone line for the control room computer, this is critical, and
needs to be installed and ready for Don before he arrives. Can this please be
done
* Changes to computer screens
* When we met you said you where happy with the screens and needed no changes
* When I met with Javier Merigo he advised that Jesus Gomez from Production
had asked for more product tracking to be included in the screens
* Can you please advise if you would like this done, if so please have Jesus
detail what he needs so Steven can do it before coming to Celaya
* Also, do you want the "operating hours" of the tunnel recorded for
maintenance purposes, if so please advise and Steve can start working on it
* If you approve we will advise the cost, if any, before starting
* Javier advised he has a Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for the computers,
please have him go ahead and install it before Don arrives and email me when
completed
* Can you please scan and email me a copy of the bar code that will be used,
we need this to do some work before we return
* Can you please email me some photos of the new basket, with a bar code label
attached so we can see where it will be
* There are about 900 product codes, we understand that the 900 codes will be
broken down into 3 retention times, can you please email me a final version of a
spreadsheet with the 900 codes split into the 3 categories
Thank you for meeting on Tuesday, if you can answer the above as soon as
possible it will really help Don and Steve before they get back to Celaya
I am getting answers for you about the costs and details of the stainless
steeel, extra motors and refrigeration circuit, I will have those early next
week

Here is a list of items that Don needed fixed before he returns to finish the
tunnel comissioning, can you please look at this and let me know what has or has
not been done
· Fit guide rail on merge bend.
· Damaged plastic chain on merge bend....retain/lock all drive and driven
sprockets
· Loose chains at diverter...fit chain tensioners as discussed.
· Rubbing sprocket at diverter.
· Damaged decline plastic chain...replace damaged sections and retain/lock
all drive and driven sprockets
· Loose plastic chain on various brake and acceleration belts.
· Loose chains at the transfer end... fit chain tensioners as discussed
· Wobbling motors due to bent shafts at various places but particularly at
the transfer rollers...replace bent/eccentric shafts as discussed.
· Transfer end still needs to be properly leveled and aligned.
· Plastic belt not tracking straight on out feed conveyor.
· Loose drive keys at various locations.
· Non concentric chain driven rollers are not acceptable and are to be
replaced.
· Reduce noise levels on K1.
· Out feed roller conveyor... fit chain tensioners as discussed
I will get Don to tell me if and when he needs you in Celaya, hopefully on
Monday

• Las cadenas flojas al final de la banda de transferencia, coloca los tensores así como quedamos.
• Reemplaza los ejes de los motores que vibran muchos lugares principalmente en los rodillos de transferencia.
• El final de la línea de transferencia necesita ser propiamente nivelado y alineado.
• La banda de plástico no esta girando apropiadamente en la banda de provisión
• Bujes (cojinetes) flojos en muchos lugares.
• Rodillos con el orificio descentrado no son aceptables y necesitan ser reemplazado.
• La banda con rodillos de provisión, coloca los tensores así como quedamos.
Le diré a Don que me diga si te necesita en Celaya y cuando.

The “AA1251-Purlin heights” drawings show the polypanel support steel. Please note that the access platform also acts as a wall support. The platform wall support is a 150 x 75mm channel at a height of 3575mm from the existing floor level.
Wooden Blocks:
Revised block size : 500x700x 220mm (from 500 x 700 x 150mm)
This is how we think the project will go – I have drawn the stages to clarify. Please check this and give your comments.
Stage 1 -start on the 27 October 08 - complete before 15.11.08
· Install the floor of both freezer and defrost tunnels (concrete to be hard enough to put weight on)
Stage 2 – start 15 November 08
Realcold arrives on site to start installation- we install
· Both freezer and defrost tunnel structures including enclosure support steel (purlins).
· Platfrom and possibly the conveyors. ( the platform will act as the support for the polypanel walls)
Stage 3 – Work in with Realcold
· Builder installs walls as per drawing
Stage 4 – Approximately 8 December
· Builder to cut door and conveyor penetrations.
Stage 5 – Complete by 15.01.09
· Complete the remainder of building – except last end walls
Stage 6 – First week of February 09
· Install last two walls

What is the proposed floor thickness for:
The Freezer room (currently assumed to be 320mm – 70mm sand 150mm insulation 100mm concrete)
The Defrost room (currently assumed to be 170mm concrete)
How was the site visit?
