I am a state certified translator, localizer and interpreter for English and German.
Beginning translation during my studies, I have been working as a translator for more than 10 years now, first as a working student for Infineon and later as an internal project manager and translator at Siemens Language Services. Finally, in 2008, I decided to become a freelancer.
When I started at Siemens I worked as a project manager, which provided me with important experience about translation processes and services. After approximately one year I was looking for another challenge and had myself transferred to the internal team of translators, working mainly on medical contents (ultrasound, CT and MRT) but also for the automation sector.
As a frequent gamer, I immediately grabbed the chance when I was offered a job as a tester and localizer for computer and online games. Now, the gaming industry has become my main translation field.
I offer the translation of storylines, marketing and community contents (e.g. patch notes, Steam contents etc.) as well as informative texts for renowned magazines.
Since 2016 I have been lead localizer at My.com working on games like Allods Online, Armored Warfare and Skyforge which are also available on PS4.
