I started working for the translation industry in 2008 localizing video games for CD-Projekt Localization Centre, which later changed its name to Porting House. Even though my original employer closed down unexpectedly, I managed to stay on the market and get work form large translation companies such as SDL and Transperfect Translation. Over the years I have worked for a number of important end-clients, such as Microsoft, Sony and Samsung working with large volumes of text for said clients.
My main specialties are IT, technical, marketing and gaming, but I constantly work to broaden my knowledge of other subjects and to improve upon the areas I am already familiar with. My goal for 2014 is learning the basics of programming.
I mainly work with Trados Studio 2009 and SDLX, but have some experience with other CAT tools, such as Wordfast and Microsoft LocStudio.
I am available past regular working hours for my time zone (GMT+1), on weekends and most holidays.
