Qualified Technical Translator with 16 years of experience:

What does this mean?

That you get faster, top quality results. I can translate an environmental report into English or Spanish at up to 800 words per hour.

Wait, 800 words per hour? How do you do that?

First and foremost because of specialization. I have worked in my fields for many years, I study hard and I love what I do. I provide efficient, timely, accurate translations with the help of state of the art CAT Tools and proofreading techniques (including hard copy), I perform thorough QA.

What is my background?

My mother tongue being Spanish, I can translate from English and French into "neutral" Spanish (i.e. Spanish that is understood by all Spanish speakers), but the truth is most of my work has been into English with a very professional output and great results within my areas of expertise.

I hold a Technical, Scientific and Literary Translation Degree (BA-equivalent) from a renown Argentine School of Languages (The "Lenguas Vivas").

I also have a Conference Interpreting Diploma from the CCIT, where I attended professional training courses between 2009-2011.

These courses have helped me improve my translation skills and enhance my terminological base in several fields, but my work experience has always revolved around these three:

* Environmental Law and Environmental Science,

* Oil & Gas,

* and Mining.

Because I believe in continued training, this year I attended the "Mining for Translators" course by Nora Fiorini at the CTPCBA (Buenos Aires' Sworn Translators' Association, May-June 2019).

I first started out working as an assistant at an Environmental Law Firm, taking side translation jobs with them and other clients until I finally took the leap into the professional world 100% in 2006.

My services include:

* Translation,

* Localization,

* Transcreation,

* Interpretation,

* Subtitling,

* Editing,

* and Proofreading.

I look forward to helping you out!
