My name is Carlos Sousa. I was born In Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 1995. Spanish is my native language, however I also learned Portuguese at home and in school. When I came to the U.S.A, I learned English. I have a interpreting spoken languages certificate from Union County College in Cranford, NJ. Although I have earned this certificate, I have decided to go back to school and study business. I have currently worked as a banker and recently decided to pursue what I love to do which is translations. For the past year I have worked in highly populated Hispanic area which has allowed me to gain experience in consecutive interpreting and sight translations. I do not have much professional experience, but I do have six years working as a banker and my interpreting degree. I hope to gain much experience by joining this web site and by starting a new career as a freelancer.
