Experienced, professional and personable interpreter and translator for German to English and Indonesian to English.

I'm British, but I grew up in Munich, Germany, where I attended school. I currently live in London.
I lived in Indonesia for 8 years and studied Indonesian at University in the UK and Indonesia. I speak and write Indonesian and German to near native level.

I have been working as a full-time translator and interpreter for nearly 10 years. You can see some of the agencies and projects I have worked on below.
My areas of expertise are Media, Legal, Medical (Life Science), Tourism and Travel, and Marketing/ Promotional Material.

Interpreting I specialise in consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in a variety of settings including film sets, assisting film editors, looking after guests from other countries, research, in court, both in person and by telephone including:

FNV (trade union conference)

Forest People's Programme (2 x week tours of multiple countries including simultaneous interpreting at the EU, Dutch and UK parliaments/commissions/departments, RSPO conference, company meetings as well as press conferences)
