Professional practices Rachel Freeman endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).
When I lived in my native Philadelphia I always wanted to travel and learn other langauges so I moved first to Japan and then to Spain. Now having spent most of my adult life abroad I appreciate how these international and intercultural experiences have given me a unique perpesctive that enhances my professional development.

Currently I work as a freelance translator and proof-reader in Seville with 7 years of professional experience and a master in translation from the University of Salamanca. I am registered as an autónoma (self-employed worker) with Spanish Social Security.

I have worked in-house at an agency in Spain where I gained useful experience with a wide variety of texts. I feel comfortable translating any type of document knowing I have the skills and resources to complete the job.

I use Trados and several sources to ensure quality of the final product. I am highly self-motivated and work well alone or in groups.
