I am a native speaker of Cantonese who was born and have worked in Hong Kong (used to a British Colony but is now a part of China) for 15 years. I moved to Chicago 5 years ago and have been residing and working here since then. I can write Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and speak Mandarin. I have learned English since I was 3 and have excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English. I have been using English and Chinese in both business and social context on a daily basis throughout my life. Besides, I am married to a Caucasian who is a life-long Chicagoan.

On a professional level, I am currently a Telephonic Interpreter of a language services company and was previously offered a job of Telephonic Interpreter by another language services provider. With extensive experience in translation and interpretation from my current and previous jobs in Hong Kong and Chicago, I have professional expertise and knowledge in various areas including banking, finance, insurance, healthcare, and cross-cultural marketing.
