Bio

Since January 2009, I've had the chance to occupy various positions linked to localization, for different companies around the world.

I have been a linguistic quality assurance tester, a proofreader, a translation project coordinator and a translator, which gives me a good overview of the industry's processes and best practices.

I've worked on a variety of platforms and genres, from AAA console games and MMORPGs to mobile games, especially in recent years with the mobile free-to-play model getting more popular.

When working at eDreams ODIGEO, I was responsible for the quality and consistency of the French content on all platforms, which included three websites and three apps, available on iOS and Android and provided content for marketing campaigns.

The three years I spent as a proofreader/project leader at Nintendo taught me that along linguistic skills, communication and organization are vital to keep an overview of the different projects and their deadlines, especially when freelancing.

After close to 10 years spent abroad I eventually decided to come back to France and become a freelancer. Since then, I have translated a wide variety of content: Marketing for technological products, HR forms, instruction manuals, and of course video games etc.
