Source text - English QUIK-TUBE" rigid fiber building forms are the ideal method of pouring cylinder-shaped concrete foundations for deck and porch supports and other load bearing applications. QUIK-TUBE" forms can also be used to create attractive bases for lamp posts, fence posts, basketball net posts, mailbox posts and other post-setting applications. Such forms may also be required by frost line building codes.
QUIK-TUBE" forms allow you to place the strongest foundation possible. The inner walls of the form are waxed. This holds in the concrete's water content, which results in maximum curing and strength build-up. Consider that when placed in a hole or dirt form, water can be sucked out of the concrete by the surrounding soil. This shortens curing time and reduces concrete strength. For this reason, many local building codes now specify the use of forms for all footers and foundations used in load-bearing applications.
QUIK-TUBE" forms are available in 83, 103 and 123 nominal diameters. Each tube is 42 long and can easily be cut to length using ordinary power tools. They can be left in place or stripped away after the concrete has cured for 24 hours. For the easiest removal and the smoothest concrete finish, apply a release agent to the inside of the forms.
Pressure-treated wood or metal posts can be secured to the footer by anchor plates or bolts embedded in the concrete. The posts themselves can also be embedded in the concrete to a depth that ensures complete support. The exact methods acceptable for load-bearing applications such as decks are subject to local building codes.
For example, in areas prone to termite problems, the code may specify the use of pressure-treated lumber attached to the footer using anchor plates. The elevation of the footer may be several inches above grade. These steps keep the lumber from direct contact with the soil, a condition that reduces the likelihood of termite problems.
Flag, basketball, and playground equipment poles may require embedding in concrete to certain depths, often up to 1/3 overall pole height. Check local codes and/or pole manufacturer recommendations.
Translation - Spanish QUIK-TUBE™ (marca registrada).

—¿A Miami?
—No, a Denver.
—Debe tener suficiente plata...
—A mí, Señora.
Translation - English Adolfa Pio, the Vanderbilt Arias domestic worker. She was a beautiful Chola (nickname for Indian girl in Panama), who at the stroke of serving; for years, in the millionaire family, and little less than spoke and walked with the same grace of the patroness. Even, said one of the boys, that the girl, already spoke English and even had gone with their employers, the United States and Europe. But there is no doubt that the girl was worth, by her own figure, without the imitations and costumes that the powerful lady of the house gave to her, after using them, as it was the custom in that society.
And it was true that one of the construction workers was nutsy by the girl, but she did not regard him. With the kindness she had in the palace where she worked, was not agree to walk with patirrajados (rattling guys), neither boquisucios (dirty vocabulary) workers, because when she left the garden, they shouted all kinds of compliments even some uploaded and toned down, like the one that sounded: -"si como caminas cocinas, chola hasta el concolon me como" (if you walk as you cook, chola I eat the concolon “final part of a cooked rice”) ... or one worse: "No menees tanto la cuna que despiertas al chichi” (Do not so much shake the cradle, you wake up to the Chichi/baby).... Once, she turned and shouted--"Vulgars!" ... It was the kind of the “love” of the boys
"You know?" said one of them-I think that girl is doing something.
-Everybody's is doing something.
-Don't be silly, I say that in something below the sheets..... And she is more spark than you think.
One day, Adolfa Pio, the Vanderbilt Arias domestic employee, took a taxi and headed to a clinical examination laboratory.
-Please, take me to the Social Security Clinic--- she asked to the taxi driver.
-Are you sick? - The driver asked.
-No sir, I'm going to travel.
-And for that you have to take medical exams?
-Yes, I go to the United States.
-To Miami?
-No, Denver.
-You must have enough “plata” (money)....
-No, I hope----the girl smiled----I go with the bosses.
When the girl returned from the blood test in another cab, and from above the scaffolds she was seen by the workers, and as usual they began whistle to her.
"You realize," said one of them, "the “tipa” (vulgar name replacing woman word) just walks in a taxi, like she is the patroness."
-You are not but an envious: you don't look like a worker.
-Je....je....je!. You suffer, don't you? But of course, I know that the patroness travels in Mercedes Benz; doing something is your girlfriend going, crazy: “sapeale” (look someone indiscrete way) the style of closing the gate, like a great lady.
-You are “picado” (wondered) that's all, total, because she had ignored you.
-And also, she did it to you, poor Romeo.
The urban landscape of the elegant district of the patroness of Adolfa Pio, in front of whose chalet they built the apartment building, it changed radically, a thirteen Friday precisely, at ten thirty in the morning. Suddenly, an official car came from the Social Security Clinic and an official, dressed in white, came down and rang the bell.
Half-opened the gate Adolfa, with a certain air of strangeness.
Does the worker Adolfa Pio live here? --The official asked.
"Yes Sir, I am myself: how can I help you?"
-We need to talk to you.
-In that, through a window of the attic, the patroness looked and wondered: who are they looking for?
-They´re looking for me, ma'am.
