I’ve studied English since I was 9 and loved translation as
a career since the age of 16. I took up many courses on the translation of
different subjects and worked as a secretary in a cultural institution since
1993. I worked in a translation assistantship in a big legal
studio downtown Buenos Aires. I graduated as a legal sworn translator in Buenos
Aires University in 1995. And since then I did translation on a freelance basis
as a complement to my regular and everyday employment. In 1993, I worked as an interpreter for the president of my organization in the
reception of Mikhail Baryshnikov in his visit to Buenos Aires as a special
guest to carry out three performances with the White Oak Dance Project in the
Teatro Colón. I translated the text which Buenos Aires Colon Theatre guided tours’
staff used to do the English tour. I’ve worked mainly as a bilingual assistant in reinsurance,
legal studios, cultural Not-for-profit organizations. I ‘ve taught English in
company and as a private teacher for young and adult learners (lefl). I’m quiet, stable, constant, responsible, and hard worker.
And I always think to keep on learning new things. I love my family and devote
my efforts to them. I love singing in choirs and be part of a team of peers working with a common goal. I'm good humoured, and think life is worth living with friends and loved ones around. |
