The side-feeder allows fillers and additives in powder or pellet form, or chopped glass fibres, to be fed laterally into the extruder. The co-rotating screws are largely self-cleaning and ensure positive conveyance. Connection to the extruder is possible, with a suitable connection barrel, at any point of the processing section where feeding of the above-mentioned products is deemed to be useful. Боковой загрузчик позволяет загружать сбоку в экструдер наполнитель и присадки в форме порошка, гранул или рубленого стекловолокна. Совращающиеся шнеки в значительной степени самоочищающиеся и обеспечивают хорошую подачу. Подключение к экструдеру возможно, через специальный соединительный цилиндр, в любой точке секции обработки, где загрузка вышеупомянутых продуктов считается необходимой.
Установочная поверхность бокового загрузчика должна быть отшлифованной и ровной.
