My
name is Walaa, I am a senior linguist and professional legal translator.
I hold a BA in the English Language and Literature from the University of
Alexandria and a Professional Diploma in Legal and UN Translation from the AUC,
a certified ESL Instructor and a Trained Legal Translator.
I
have 9+ years of experience as a full-time and freelance Translator and editor
of written documents from English/Arabic language to Arabic/English language.My
area of expertise includes Legal, Marketing, Technical, Financial, Literary,
Religious and General content.
I worked with several translation agencies based in MENA, including but not
limited to: Apex Translation Services (Egypt), Four Corners Group (UAE), Al IdrisiTranslation
(KSA), ArabEasy (India & UAE), Access Centre for translation services
(Qatar). I’ve taught Specialized English at the Arab Academy for Maritime
Science and Technology (Business English, Academic Writing, English for
Engineering and other courses). I also teach English for Legal Purposes at
the Lawyers' Syndicate and MPL Academy. I have participated in the
translation of many literary works as a ghost translator. I worked as a
full-time reviewer for a number of my clients. After spending years working as
a translator/reviewer/copywriter with some of the highly acclaimed names in the
industry, I know how to help my clients, through an outcomes-driven work model,
to communicate their message across to their target audience in a clearer and
