My passions being music, art and nature, I love travelling and discovering new cultures. I studied for one year in Portugal as an Erasmus student, and that is when I started to travel. After my second graduation (2009), instead, I travelled in almost all South America as a backpacker, visiting Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. It was such a wonderful experience, merged in gorgeous nature and powerful life of Latin America.
I would also like to add that I have been practising basketball since I was seven and that I studied the piano at the conservatoire for six years.
I graduated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bologna with the best results. My final work consisted in the translation of a novel by the Angolan writer José Eduardo Agualusa.
The languages I studied are English, Portuguese and French, languages that I got to know not only studying, but even working and living abroad. At the moment, I am working as a Foreign Language Assistant in Barry Comprehensive School, in Barry, Wales. That means I teach Italian to pupils from year 7 to year 11. It is a challenging job and I am enjoying it!
During my university studies I joined a Civil Service project inside the University of Padua. It was my duty to make audio and video files transcriptions from English and Portuguese to Italian; keeping e-learning websites updated and helping language experts and collaborators of the University.
Furthermore, I made several translations, both technical and literary. I also translated some websites. |
