Bio
I have a BA in Spanish and Middle Eastern and African Studies as well as a Certificate in Translation Studies in Spanish from the University of Alberta.

Currently the translation work I do is volunteer with EISA (Edmonton Immigrant Services Association) for which I mostly translate legal, academic, and personal documents of newcomers to Canada from Spanish into English. I have been volunteering for them since November 2011.

I also volunteered for Mondo Agit's "Per Mondo" Initiative between May and October 2014, for which I translated in the same pair for non-profits. A sample of my work is available online at http://www.promotorasocial.net/es/Home/
