I am a qualified freelance translator from English and French to Italian. I was born in the United States, but I grew up and studied in Italy, so I am a native Italian speaker. Being constantly exposed to both Italian and English languages lead me to develop a true passion for translation, as it is a fundamental means of communication.

In the past I have worked as an English teacher and collaborated as a cultural mediator with a cooperative that works for the integration of refugees. 

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages at the University of Padua and a first level Master's Degree in EN>IT Specialized Translation (technical and biomedical fields) at ICoN Consortium, in collaboration with the Universities of Pisa and Genoa. Moreover, I have attended a training course in order to become a Cultural Mediator who works with asylum seekers. 

I have achieved a two-year translation experience in the culinary field and I have translated various short film subtitles. Moreover, my past work experience in tourism exposed me to the specific language of that sector.
