Kathryn is visibly angered by this revelation. She despises personal matters getting in the way of work and is acutely aware that the key project manager getting involved with the chief patron could have serious ramifications for what the organisation is trying to achieve.
Translation - German K: (herablassend) Okay, Leona, wir können nicht alle "eine Frau des Volkes" sein, aber wir tun unser Bestes... Du wirst einen Weg finden müssen mit der Situation zurecht zu kommen. Hör mal, ich denke wir müssen es jetzt gut sein lassen-
L: Er kann nicht mitkommen-

K: Was? Warum nicht?
L: Ich kann's einfach nicht.
K: Leona, wovon redest du?
L: Wir haben eine Vergangenheit.
K: Vergangenheit? Was meinst du?
L: Wir hatten eine Beziehung...eine Affäre.
K: (schockiert) Was?! Wann?
L: Ich weiß nicht... Es hat letztes Jahr ungefähr um diese Zeit herum angefangen...
