Bio
I'm a Uruguayan translator recently graduated from the University of the Republic with a specialisation in legal English. I used to work as a teacher of Spanish as a second language. Because my students were from all over the world, I have learned connect to people from other cultures and languages very easily, which has helped me a lot in my experience as a translator: I always have someone to ask if I need a different opinion or viewpoint on cultural, linguistic or pragmatic aspects. I'm currently working as Operations Manager for an American company that does business in Uruguay, which has given me experience in the world of business, accounting and international law. I have also studied linguistics in the University and my favourite subjects are semantics and syntax. I am passionate about books, languages and politics.
