Bio
I am a 23-year-old translator based in Berlin, Germany. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated in 2014 from the University of Washington Seattle with a dual degree in Germanics and History. A significant portion of my studies were spent abroad, between Berlin and Vienna.
From 2014-2015, I completed an internship as a foreign language correspondent and translator for a medical-industrial manufacturing company based in Germany. My job focused on the translation of advertising and instructional materials for the applications of high-quality ceramics, as well as company newsletters and personal correspondences of the upper management. I also have experience in film subtitling, academic proofreading, and English language tutoring.
As of October 2015, I will be working toward my M.A. at the Freie Universität Berlin.
