I am a Dutch citizen and native speaker based in San Francisco, CA. I was formally trained as a linguist in French (MA) and in Education (BEd), with a specialization on bilingualism. I am passionate about languages and master Dutch, French, English, Italian, and German at different levels. I currently teach at the Dutch School Silicon Valley. In the past 10 years I trained professionals (such as diplomats from the UK Foreign Office) to become fully proficient in Dutch. I also taught language classes at various schools and higher education institutions in the UK, including: Imperial College London, City Literary Institute London, ACS International Schools, European School Culham, and other Dutch Schools abroad. At the moment I combine my teaching activity with freelance translation work
