Source text - Albanian Në kumtesën me titull “Statusi i dyfishtë në veprën e Át Zef Pllumit”, do të trajtohet natyra që vepra e Át Zef Pllumit ka nga njëra anë si memuar, si shkrim dëshmues, përfund, si fakt dhe, nga ana tjetër, si fiksion, si gjuhë e figurshme, për aq sa kënaqësia dhe interesi i leximit nuk qëndron vetëm në njohjen e faktit apo dëshmisë historike, por po aq në kënaqësinë e shijimit të një diskursi i cili nuk duket se respekton një formulë shkrimi ngurtësisht “dokumentuese”.
“Rrno vetëm për me tregue” vjen si nevojë jo vetëm për të dëshmuar atë që ka ndodhur, por mbi të gjitha kjo nevojë duket se lidhet me një arsye tjetër, po aq të rëndësishme, nevojën për ta rrëfyer faktin e ndodhur. Kësisoj paskajorja “me tregue” bëhet një kategori e pastër letrare sepse nuk nënkupton vetëm të dëftuarit e faktit, por njëkohësisht ajo shenjon edhe kategorinë e mirëfilltë letrare të rrëfimit/tregimtarisë.
Shpesh gjuha që rrëfen faktin del nga kufijtë e një diskursi denotativ, ajo bëhet e figurshme dhe kufijtë mes autorit të dëshmisë dhe narratorit të rrëfimit vazhdimisht ndërkëmbehen saqë shpesh vëmendja e lexuesit ndoshta më tepër sesa te mësimi/zbulimi i faktit që po tregohet, përqendrohet te ligjërimi që merr përsipër ta tregojë këtë fakt dhe pikërisht këtu lind fiksionaliteti, i kuptuar ky i fundit jo në nivel të “vërtetësisë” të asaj që tregohet, por në kuptimin sesi ndërtohet gjuha që e tregon/rrëfen këtë fakt.
Translation - English In the paper entitled "The Double Status in the Work of Father Zef Pllumi", the nature of the work of Father Zef Pllumi on one hand will be treated as a testimony, overall, as fact, and on the other hand, as fiction, as a fictional language, for as long as the pleasure and interest of the reading lies not only in the recognition of historical fact or testimony, but also in the pleasure of enjoyment of the discourse which does not seem to rigidly respect a "documentary" writing formula.
"Live Only To Tell" arises out of a necessity not only to testify what has happened, but above all, this need seems to be related to another reason, just as important: the need to tell.
This infinitive, "to tell" is a pure literary element as it implies not only the acknowledgement of the fact, but simultaneously it also marks the genuine literary term of the narrative/storytelling.
Often the language that conveys this fact emerges from the boundaries of a denotative/indicative discourse becomes figurative and the boundaries between the author of the testimony and the narrator of the storytelling are constantly interchanged so that often the reader's attention, perhaps more to the discovery of the fact being shown, is focused on the discourse that the storyteller undertakes to demonstrate this fact and this is exactly where the ‘fictionality’ is born, the latter being understood not in the level of "truth" of what is shown, but in the sense of how the language is constructed that/to tell(s)/convey(s) this fact.
