Welcome to my profile!

I'm an English and German to Spanish translator, proofreader, and editor.

I mostly translate literature, medical and pharmaceutical documents, as well as web copy.

Born in a bilingual family, I speak native Spanish and German, and studied Modern English Literature and Translation at UNAM, in Mexico City. I've taken courses on medical & pharmaceutical translation, literary translation, as well as courses on management, programming, visual communication, and marketing.

During the full year I worked at a translation agency, I translated over 2 million words of medical and pharmaceutical documents (such as CoAs, IFUs and protocols), insurance-related texts, contracts, and employee guides, with constant professional feedback from my peers.

After the year was over, I decided to go freelance. Since then, I've worked with various clients on online platforms translating website copy, email campaigns, educational material, personal development books, manuals, correspondence, personal development books, fitness programs, among others.

In addition to translating literature, reading, and subtitling courses at, I also enjoy studying other languages, learning all kinds of stuff, doing research, collecting and making my own glossaries and putting my knowledge to use.

I am all for translation tests: I strongly believe in their power to show if a translator's skills really fit your needs. I also appreciate feedback --anything is welcome!
