Translation - English Truth be told, I am not a castle, I am a fairy, a web of emotion.
I remember a little of the medieval age. I remember much of the 18th century and of Jacques de Bergeron, who left me both name and glory.
I will never forget the year 1868 and the construction of this extravagant abode of white stone and red brick.
I am nature. From the top of my towers, I watch the estuary ow. In the park, in the ower elds, in the beehives and the humming of the dawn, nature is everywhere.
I am an enchanted land. On the edges of the grounds an observatory has been built. There, they comment on the vineyard work, linger on the in nite number of stones that warm my Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. I am a silhouette of gravel nestled between Saint-Julien and Margaux, I am an unrivalled land.
I am both wise and mad, I am classic yet revolutionary, I dazzle in a whirlwind of sensations. I am a wine of unique creation and I conjure notes of gourmand indulgence.
I have my secrets. Sixteen steps plunge secretly beneath the château. Behind the heavy door, I reveal a buried paradise. Glasses, the perfume of wine, a boutique. The fresh and serene ambience awakens the senses.
It will not be said that I do not know how to host- my suites are delicious, fruity, spiced. My sitting rooms drink in the light of the day, my kitchen is intoxicated with pleasure.

Experience
Years of experience: 7. Registered at ProZ.com: Mar 2017.
I am a freelance FR-ENG, ENG-FR and IT-ENG translator with experience in the literary, commercial and legal sectors. I hold a Second Class Honours (first division) Bachelor of Arts from the University of Bath in French, Italian and European Studies and an MA in Writng for Young People (Distinction). During my BA degree I specialised in translation and translation theories.
I am British but grew up in France, which meant speaking English at home and French at school. I speak both English and French at native level, with impeccable written skills in both languages. This mother-tongue duality means I can translate back and forth between EN-FR and FR-EN with ease and understand the nuances in both languages, which may not always be obvious to translators for whom their translating language is not their native tongue. Words are my trade and both my own writing and my translations are crafted with the utmost precision, fluency and creativity.
My main areas of work include fiction (especially children’s fiction, historical fiction and fantasy), the wine industry, hospitality, culture, art, history, travel, feminism, politics and journalism and religion. I also write reader reports for several publishers and literary scouts.
I charge £0.12 per word for translations. Available 7 days a week.
