Source text - English Grade standards—industry driven and voluntary—were devised long ago to provide growers and buyers with a common language for evaluating produce and mediating disputes. They also can help reduce food waste. If growers can sort their asparagus or tangelos into established grades, they stand a better chance of finding markets for their “seconds.” Supermarkets have always been free to set their own standards, of course, but in recent years upscale grocers have started running their produce departments like beauty pageants, responding to customers, they say, who expect only platonically ideal produce.
Translation - Arabic ووُضعت معايير إنتاج الأغذية، سواء للصناعة الهادفة للربح أو التطوعية، منذ زمن بعيد لتوفر للمزارعين والمشترين للسلع لغة عامة لتقييم المنتج، وحل النزاعات المتعلقة به، كما يمكن أن تساعد هذه المعايير في تقليل الكميات المهدرة من الطعام. فمثلًا إذا تمكن المزارعون من فرز نباتيْ الهليون والتانجيلو وفقًا للمعايير المحددة سلفًا، فإنهم يجدون فرصًا أفضل لتسويق «الفرز الثاني» من منتجاتهم. وبالطبع تمتلك الأسواق الكبرى دائمًا حرية وضع معاييرها الخاصة للمنتجات، لكن بعض الأسواق الكبرى بدأت إدارة أقسام المنتجات بها كما لو كانت مسابقات لاختيار المنتج الأجمل، وتقول إنها تفعل ذلك استجابةً للمستهلكين الذين يتوقعون منها منتجًا مثاليًا يقارب حد الكمال.

Source text - English Chemical Engineering Technology Students Club (Chesc) organized an event of interaction with high profile managers of the YANPET on 3-12-2015. Dr. Yasser Hadi (MD) presented an overview of the academic programs and the related activities of Yanbu Industrial College. The presentation was attended by Dr. Abdulaziz Alhulaifi (DMD), Dr.Fahd Aloufi (Head of Department of Chemical Engineering Technology) and all other heads of Academic departments
Later, the dignitaries visited the laboratories of various departments and gained a first-hand information on the potentials of the college. The student representatives got an opportunity to illustrate an elaborate picture on the various academic and practical skills they achieve through learning at Yanbu Industrial College before the visiting dignitaries.
