Bio

EN<>ES translator and interpreter with 8 years' experience in nonprofits and LGBT/Queer organizations, 5 years' experience in medical interpretation. Ártemis holds a MA in Medical Translation from the Universitat Jaume I in Spain, is currently a PhD student in Linguistics at the Universidade de Vigo in Spain, and is CCHI- and ATA-certified in both directions.


Ártemis specializes in queer, trans, and non-binary language both as a translator/interpreter and as an editor and cultural sensitivity advisor.
