I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in 1988. After graduation from school I completed the bachelor's degree in languages at the State Pedagogical University named after A.I.Herzen. Since that time I travelled a lot and decided to move to the UK in 2013 in order to complete the Pre-masters course in the Glasgow International College. After that I continued studying at MSc Management programme of the University of Glasgow. This was a great opportunity to know city of Glasgow better and make a lot of new interesting people here.
International connections helped me to broaden my horizons, gain knowledge and share experience with people from different backgrounds and cultures. My friends from different parts of the world helped me to understand business culture, political situation and ethical issues, which might appear in their business environment. This valuable insight is indispensable in the diverse business society nowadays and for me in particular to be more ethically and socially aware.
It is important for me that during the masters programme I became more confident and could effectively use my leadership skills while organising both myself and others. In addition to this, I became more responsible and collaborative, because it takes a lot of effort to manage your and peer's time to meet the upcoming deadlines. While discussions I developed my critical thinking skills in order to solve problems and generate ideas in effective and creative way covering both sides of the argument. I would like to apply all my theoretical and practical knowledge to improve the current business environment and business processes.
