Born and raised in Germany, I moved to Scotland to attend university and built a life in the UK.
In addition to my native German and what I now like to call my 'spiritual mother tongue' English, I am also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, having studied these two languages at university and having lived in both Spain and Portugal for several months.
In addition to languages, I have also obtained a degree in EU Studies, allowing me to familiarise myself with both European and international law and governmental procedures.
Translating also allows me to work and stay in touch with the two other options for degree courses I had considered: Law and Medicine. My keen interest in both is now satisfied by primarily translating texts from the legal and medical fields.
