Source text - German 5.3. Verarbeitung der bioelektrischen Impulse im Gehirn
Mit unterschiedlichen Entladungsfrequenzen und unterschiedlichen Neuronen gelangen diese Impulse zum Hirnstamm. Über die Hörbahn, ein komplexes Verschaltungssystem, in dem die Impulse vorverarbeitet werden, gelangen sie zum akustischen Kortex. Sind im Innenohr ca. 3.500 Neuronen an der Reizweiterleitung beteiligt, so steigt die Zahl im akustischen Kortex auf ca. 100 Mio. Dies belegt die Komplexität der Verarbeitung und Vernetzung akustischer Reize. Die Reize werden weitergeleitet zum primären akustischen Rindenfeld. Daraufhin schalten sich das motorische Sprachzentrum, der Gyros postcentralis, und das Limbische System unter ständigem Abwägen, Bewerten und Assoziieren ein. 5.4. Molekularbiologische Mechanismen
Ein weiterer Aspekt der Beobachtung von den gehirnphysiologischen Prozessen ist die Analyse biochemischer Veränderungen durch äußere Reize. Zum Einen handelt es sich um Hormonveränderungen in gewissen Hirnregionen (z.B. in der Hypophyse und im Hypothalamus), welche durch Musikwahrnehmung ausgelöst werden und Auswirkung auf den gesamten Körper haben können, zum anderen um Aktivierung verschiedener Neurotransmitter. Die Musikpsychologie hat in diesem Bereich erst sehr wenige Untersuchungen durchgeführt. Die meisten konzentrieren sich dabei auf die hormonellen Korrelate der Musikwirkung. Insbesondere sind die Stresshormone ACTH und Prolaktin (werden in der Hypophyse gebildet), sowie das körpereigene Opiat Beta-Endorphin gemessen worden.Für ACTH und das damit abhängige Kortisol können Veränderungen in Abhängigkeit von der affektiven Bedeutung der Musik nachgewiesen werden, z.B. unter Techno-Musik war ein signifikanter Anstieg von ACTH zu beobachten. Beta-Endorphin kann während angenehmer Musik, z.B. chillout-Music, vermehrt ausgeschüttet werden.

5.4. Μοριακοί βιολογικοί μηχανισμοί

Η μουσική ψυχολογία έχει διεξάγει σε αυτόν τον τομέα μόλις λιγοστές έρευνες. Οι περισσότερες επικεντρώνονται στις ορμόνες που σχετίζονται με την επίδραση της μουσικής.
