Italian to Spanish: fragment from book "Dalle immagini alle parole" General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Printing & Publishing
Source text - Italian Tra i sobbalzi del fuoristrada, la fine sabbia che filtrava impietosa e la luce accecante che gli violentava gli occhi, continuava a pensare che era diventato impossibile vivere in quella assurda dimensione a tre.
Voleva provare a far chiarezza.
General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting

Source text - English Gioele doesn't know how long it's been or what happened. During war, everything is unknown. He finds the strength to open his eyes. Light, too much light. Moving shadows are disturbing his sight. His legs feel heavy. Or trapped under something. He can't see anything; he doesn't understand what’s going on. A figure above him, dark. Could it be death? Or could it be his father who came to pick him up?
Translation - Italian Gioele non sa quanto tempo è passato, né cosa sia successo. In guerra tutto è un’incognita. Trova la forza di aprire gli occhi. Luce, troppa luce. Ombre in movimento che la disturbano. Le gambe pesanti. O intrappolate sotto qualcosa? Non riesce a rendersi conto, non capisce la situazione. Una figura sopra di lui, scura. Che sia la morte? O suo padre che lo è venuto a prendere?

Born in Ecuador, but I spent most of my childhood in Italy, later at the age of fifteen I travelled back to Ecuador where I studied and lived till my first year of university. After that I moved to Belarus to complete my studies at the Belorussian State University becoming a geologist specialized in research and exploration of natural resources.
There, beside my specialization I've also studied Russian; initially at the Belorussian National Technical University as an intensive preparation course for one year, then I continued studying Russian in parallel with my career at the Belorussian state university for other four years.
I'm a skilled translator and I like shearing my skills and put them to work. I've translated mostly essays, stories, and articles related to science, (specially earth science) but I've also translated material related to various thematic like religion, history, astronomy, and others.
In my early days, I've also translated texts like songs and poems but currently, I'm working as a book translator. In addition to that, I'm a volunteer translator for TED, but is just for fun.
