Translation - English The distal tendon eventually inserts itself onto the posterior aspect of the medial tibial condyle, just below the joint space. Next to that, the tendon attaches itself to a few other points. These points are: the Popliteal Oblique Ligament, the Lateral (popliteal) Fascia and the oblique part of the Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL). There is actually no particular fixed attachment point, but the tendon fuses with the medial knee capsule.
