I am a professional translator with a great passion for languages and cultures. Before I started studying, I completed a Business Trainee Management program, working 3.5 days a week in different departments at Symrise AG to get a broad insight in business activities, and studying 1.5 days a week. After completing the training, I worked in the marketing department of the same company as a Junior Marketing Manager for two years.

I hold a BA in Multilingual Communication specialised in Translation Studies with focus on the following subjects:
-    linguistics
-    media and communication studies
-    cultural studies
-    translation studies
-    business studies

While studying, I gained first-hand experience as a translator working in a translation agency. Parts of my assignments included:
-    Reviewing, editing, and translating texts of different topics (economy, marketing, HR, IT/software, e-commerce)
-    Language Sign Off
-    Testing of websites

Currently I’m doing my Master’s in Specialised Translation, specialising in economy, law, IT/technology, and culture. I also acquired profound work experience while pursuing my master’s working as an editor and translator for an editorial office for medicine and health.

During both degrees, I spent one semester abroad in Spain, to further deepen my knowledge in Translation Studies and to advance my language skills.
