My name is Arthur Ribeiro and I'm a dedicated freelance translator. I'm also a passionate sports fan, video games player and movies enthusiast.

First of all, I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and fluent in English. As a matter of fact, I've studied English during my teenage years in school and in an extracurricular course. At the same time, while I was growing up, I was able to get comfortable with it through watching movies, listening to music and reading books in the language.

The English language was also very present during my college years. In fact, I've studied Economics and, more often than not, the textbooks and research papers we studied during the course weren't available in Portuguese. Therefore, we usually read them in English.

Also, I worked as an intern in a digital marketing agency during my last year of college. There, I've learned how to use some of the most important online advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads and Google Ads. Doing so, I was able to keep practicing my English by constantly researching online for state of the art content in the digital marketing field. Although these kind of content exists in Portuguese, it is much more abundant in the English language.

In conclusion, I want to work as a freelance translator to make good use of the English language proficiency I've acquired throughout my entire life. That being said, working in something I'm comfortable with, while contributing to the access of information available in my native language is surely a very rewarding experience.
