Bio
After receiving my BA (Honours) degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, I worked in the private sector in banking for 15 years, before going on to earn an MA in Chinese Languages, Literature and Civilisation from the University of Geneva.
I'm a Chartered Linguist and Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (UK), and an Associate of both the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (UK) and the Swiss Association of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting.
I grew up first in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and then in the French-speaking part, so I am fluent in these languages, in addition to my native English.
I use my strong arts & humanities background to help clients in the cultural domain bring their messages to life in English and achieve a wider readership.
Other than the arts & humanities, my specialist areas and interests include international cooperation (including NGOs and humanitarian aid foundations) and the lived neurodivergent experience, and I am able to provide certified translations on a range of document types. I'll be happy to discuss your needs and requirements with you!
