My name is Marie Y. Nilsson, I'm Swedish by birth and live in Sweden. For ~25 years, I've worked in the Health & Wellness sector in Physiotherapy/Manual Medicine, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Naprapathy. (Modernized Chiropractic)

I embraced the opportunity to get involved in online educational programs in creative writing and translations during the Corona pandemic.

As a part-time freelance language service provider, I specialize in English-to-Swedish translation, subtitling, review, and editing. Lately, I've been involved in audio annotation projects for AI.

I accept medical translations in general and projects related to my field, e.g., treatments, sports, training, wellness products, nutrition, informational materials, and working instructions for staff. I don't take on pharmaceutical or scientific projects.

I appreciate the dynamics of teamwork, but I also find it fulfilling to work independently.

Some of my strong traits are a dedicated customer focus, great communication skills, stamina, reliability, and attention to detail.

Throughout the 80s and 90s, I lived and worked abroad for several years, which has given me an appreciation and understanding of people and cultures from around the world. My curiosity, desire to explore and learn new things have always been my guiding stars.
