Hi, my name is Josenilson de Sena; I am the 5th of six brothers. And when I look back to my childhood, approximately eight to twelve, I always remember myself as a lonely kid, not alone but lonely, and an imaginative one. My eldest brothers and sister were bigger than me and the youngest was a baby, so I had no choice but to play by myself. There was a very big backyard in the house that I used to live when I was a kid, and I just transformed it into a set of movies, of course I was just playing with my toys, but my backyard just became a city, with rivers, bridges, roads and streets, skyscrapers, trees and all the elements to let my mind soar. Since I was a kid I imagined me as an actor, but I ended up going to college and I graduated in Letters-English, maybe because of movies influences, or my parents’ wishes to see their child at university. When I was studying at university I used to say – Education is in my blood, but I changed my mind very quickly, that was not for me. There was also a program in arts for students in that period, and I tried but; I was denied, maybe because I was very busy with my student’s daily works. Today I look at this profession with other eyes. Many years ago I was watching (AI- Artificial Intelligence) with my parents in the living room, I was sitting on a couch in front of TV and they were a little behind observing me, and I got all emotional and I cried, and they saw me crying, and they also got emotional just because they saw me crying. This is an intriguing point, an actor made me crying and I doing the same with my parents, of course that was a long time ago. Everything is different now, I am not child anymore, that old couch is not there, I have been living in another city, and about my parents…only their memories. I love movies of all kinds. When I watch a new one I say – one more to my list, but of course I have my favorites. There are movies made for children, adults and many for a specific group, but imagining me acting, maybe I would like to go beyond the screen and not even enter in the house of who is going to watch me, but act, pass the message of the play or movie, and touch the audience with a particular emotion. As I said above I graduated in English and I have a very large and rich experience with people, of all ages, I mean, I have been a teacher for six years or more, and it was very interesting, to be in front of many people talking, explaining, asking, and sharing my knowledge with them. Nowadays I keep doing this, but just for hobby. I have been much occupied with other things. I love music, I listen to all kinds of music and sometimes I try to play Roberto Carlos, of course he is a better singer than me. I just love “ as canções que você fez pra mim”. I love this kind of connection – music. And I love the way a song speaks to person. It’s like a play or a movie, that make you cry or laugh, or feel an emotion that you never felt before. I am in new challenge now, leaning how to play the piano. It is a totally different stuff for me. But I identified myself with it. The sound melody that the instrument produces is sweet and very beautiful, but the musical reading, it has been much easier for me, my teacher and I guess this is just because I have a degree in Letters, and I just love to learn a new kind of communication and it also provides me. According to her, I am in the level 1, that would be recognize the types of the piano, the seven notes and position of the hands. I have been learning very slowly, but believe it or not I have already known how to play a song.

Olá, meu nome é Josenilson de Sena; Eu sou o quinto de seis irmãos. E quando olho para trás em minha infância, aproximadamente oito a doze anos, sempre me lembro de mim como uma criança solitária, não sozinha, mas solitária e imaginativa. Meus irmãos e irmãs mais velhos eram maiores do que eu e o mais novo era um bebê, então não tive escolha a não ser brincar sozinho. Tinha um quintal muito grande na casa que eu morava quando era criança, e acabei transformando em um set de filmagem, claro que eu só brincava com meus brinquedos, mas meu quintal acabou de virar uma cidade, com rios, pontes, estradas e ruas, arranha-céus, árvores e todos os elementos para deixar minha mente voar. Desde criança me imaginava como ator, mas acabei indo para a faculdade e me formei em Letras-Inglês, talvez por influências do cinema, ou pela vontade dos meus pais de ver o filho na universidade. Quando eu estava na universidade eu dizia – A educação está no meu sangue, mas mudei de ideia muito rápido, aquilo não era para mim. Havia também um programa de artes para estudantes naquele período, e eu tentei, mas; Fui negado, talvez porque estivesse muito ocupado com os trabalhos diários do meu aluno. Hoje olho para essa profissão com outros olhos. Há muitos anos eu estava assistindo (IA-Inteligência Artificial) com meus pais na sala, eu estava sentada em um sofá em frente a TV e eles ficaram um pouco atrás me observando, e eu me emocionei e chorei, e eles me viram chorando, e também se emocionaram só porque me viram chorando. Esse é um ponto intrigante, um ator me fez chorar e eu fazendo o mesmo com meus pais, claro que isso foi há muito tempo. Agora tudo é diferente, não sou mais criança, aquele velho sofá não existe, moro em outra cidade, e sobre meus pais... apenas suas lembranças. Eu amo filmes de todos os tipos. Quando assisto a um novo, digo – mais um para minha lista, mas é claro que tenho meus favoritos. Existem filmes feitos para crianças, adultos e muitos para um grupo específico, mas me imaginar atuando, talvez eu gostaria de ir além da tela e nem entrar na casa de quem vai me assistir, mas atuar, passar a mensagem da peça ou filme, e tocar o público com uma emoção particular. Como disse acima me formei em inglês e tenho uma experiência muito grande e rica com pessoas, de todas as idades, quer dizer, sou professora há seis anos ou mais, e foi muito interessante, estar na frente de muitos pessoas conversando, explicando, perguntando e compartilhando meu conhecimento com eles. Hoje em dia continuo fazendo isso, mas só por hobby. Tenho estado muito ocupado com outras coisas. Amo música, ouço todo tipo de música e às vezes tento tocar o Roberto Carlos, claro que ele canta melhor que eu. Eu simplesmente amo “as canções que você fez pra mim”. Eu amo esse tipo de conexão – música. E eu amo o jeito que uma música fala com a pessoa. É como uma peça de teatro ou um filme, que te faz chorar ou rir, ou sentir uma emoção que você nunca sentiu antes. Estou em um novo desafio agora, aprendendo a tocar piano. É uma coisa totalmente diferente para mim. Mas me identifiquei com isso. A melodia sonora que o instrumento produz é doce e muito bonita, mas a leitura musical, tem sido muito mais fácil para mim, minha professora e acho que isso é só porque sou formada em Letras, e adoro aprender uma nova tipo de comunicação e também me proporciona. Segundo ela, estou no nível 1, que seria reconhecer os tipos do piano, as sete notas e a posição das mãos. Eu tenho aprendido muito devagar, mas acredite ou não eu já sabia tocar uma música.

Hello everyone! I am Josenilson de Sena. I am from Brazil and I live in the ciity of São Paulo at this moment. What I am going to describe right now is more to translation agencies that intend to hire my services as a translator, I assure you that I am clearly aware of my duties and rights that I will have to assume when I close a job with any agency, whether national or international. About my education: I have a University Degree in Letters/ English and English Language Literature. This course began in the first term of 2003 and ended in the second term of 2007. Diploma issued by State university of Piaui - ESPI. During the July vacation, the university I studied promoted works shops between my university and the University of Calgary in Canada, so there was a meeting between the graduates and the Canadian professors during this academic recess. I have an Yázigi Diploma in Proficiency of Communication in English Language, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Totaled 300 hours. I participated of a Theater Workshop of the of the Federal University of Uberlândia between March and July 2018, Totaled 60 hours. In the year of 2019 I concluded the University Extension course in the diffusion modality: Urban Anthropology: Traditions Perspectives and Challenges at the School of Arts and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo. Totaled 20 hours. Also in the year of 2019 I attended an open class for the Bachelor Degree in Acting at the Célia Helena Arts College.. From the year 2019 I started the Course of Arts of Acting at the Macunaima Actors Training School, without much time to study I stopped the course in the year 2021 not concluding it. I have experience in teaching the English language in all its forms for approximately 19 years same time of experience in the field of translation, but currently I work in this field in a much more professional way.
