Bio

I am a freelance French, Italian, Spanish to English translator based in Paris, France. My specializations are the Arts, Social Sciences, Education, Luxury, and Tourism.

 

I launched my freelance translation business while as a graduate student at the University of Chicago. As a linguistic anthropologist studying Italian dialects, I met many Italian students whose academic papers and theses I would help translate and edit. Since then, I’ve learned French, moved to Paris, and obtained a Master’s in Art History from the Sorbonne that was taught entirely in French. Some of my recent translation projects include: several French exhibition texts for an art gallery in Paris, press releases for an upcoming arts conference in Italy, and French subtitles for a short documentary about a small château in the French Alps.

 

In addition to my language abilities, I am detail-oriented, a creative problem-solver, and I thrive when presented with a challenge.
