I’m Rafael Aquino, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, experienced translator, and language enthusiast. I hold a degree in Physics from Estácio de Sá University and have completed the Google Professional Certificate in Data Analysis, which supports my ability to handle technical and data-driven content with precision.
With a strong command of both Brazilian and European Portuguese, and fluent English at the B2–C1 level, I specialize in delivering accurate and culturally adapted translations. Over the years, I’ve built a solid portfolio working with translation, revision (both human and MTPE), transcription (verbatim or streamlined), and subtitling.
My main tools include Trados Studio, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Subtitle Edit, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality in every project. I’m experienced in various content types, ranging from literary and academic to technical and commercial, always committed to delivering clear, natural, and faithful results.
I began my journey in languages through a deep interest in grammar, literature, and Latin—an academic path that naturally led me to translation. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and continue to grow in this ever-evolving field.
