Professional practices Manuel Figueroa endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).
Manuel has always provided an excellent customer service during all types of situations, to all types of people, and facing all types of challenges. He learned to translate because he saw the other people needed to communicate and he wanted to help. For him, translation is not only a way to acquire a paycheck, is his passion. Being a translator and an interpreter in the USA for almost 10 years gave him the possibility to learn the art of translation. Since he worked right next to his target readership, using the materials he had translated, it can be said he learned to become a good translator "the hard way" because the end users where his "proofreaders".

He never stopped learning an got his ENG-SPA translation diploma at the UCSD Extension in 2016. He is thoroughly capable of translating any documents in his fields of expertise and has never lost his desire of providing a bridge between minds and cultures, something he's been doing since he was just a teenager, back in 1994. He has devoted a lot of time developing his customer service and problem solving skills and learned how to be a responsible person and a hard worker.
