Within this administration, employee data can be entered that must be accessible for resource managers and line superiors, and support will be offered for allocation registration. A iniciativa é focada no desenvolvimento de aptidões para o trabalho em redes varejistas pelo país afora.
Dentre os trabalhos feitos com as pessoas envolvidas no programa, incluem-se o de treinamento de técnicas de comunicação oral e escrita, raciocínio lógico, associação da linguagem verbal e não verbal, exercícios de conversação, cálculo matemático, além do desenvolvimento de temas da atualidade e geração de debates em grupo. Também são oferecidos treinamentos em informática e em atividades de mensageiros internos.
Translation - English A professional qualification program, developed by GS1 Brazil, that attends to carriers of light and bordering mental deficiency, is an example of the effort to insert these people in the context of a job that adds value to society. The initiative is focused on the development of talents for work in retail networks throughout the country.
Among the efforts realized with the people involved in the program are included training of oral and written communication skills, logical reasoning, verbal and non-verbal language association, conversation exercises, mathematic calculation, in addition to development of actual themes and generation of group debates. Informatics training and internal messenger activities are also offered.

My role as a freelance translator involved translating Dutch into English, Portuguese into English, English into Dutch, and Portuguese into Dutch for a variety of companies, such as Siemens, GS1 Brasil, Voith, ABN Amro, Gillette, Sony, among others. I’ve been involved with the translating of general operator & instruction manuals, equipment manuals, cell phone operating manuals, brochures, company reports, presentations, marketing, economics and finance subjects (commerce in general), information technology, software manuals, contracts, home pages, and some subtitling for television and movies as well. This allowed me to build my translation skills not in one particular field but many. Accuracy and attention to detail were always paramount.
