I was born and raised in France and spent thirteen years in Montreal, Canada where I studied, worked and lived in English and French.
In 2007, I moved to Barcelona, Spain and established myself as a freelance translator.
In 2013 our family relocated to Dubai, U.A.E. where we had the opportunity to discover a new culture and experience a distinctive way of life.
My previous professional experience has been in the shipping industry (mostly in sales and customer service). I first started to translate on a part-time basis, dedicating the other part of my time to marketing and sales for a start-up company based in Paris.
After completing a general translation course from Spanish to French with International House Barcelona, I passed the Diploma of Translation of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) in January 2013.
In April 2014 I was admitted as a Member and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
We are now back in Barcelona where I am dedicating 100% of my time to translation.
I am currently in the process of developing my customer base looking for agencies and direct customers to work with.
