I'm a native Polish speaker (despite Iberian sounding surname) based
in London and working as a freelance translator since 2008.
Having obtained BA and MA
degrees in language teaching and linguistics respectively, getting a
qualification in translation was a natural step forward… and one of the best
decisions in my life! Translation not only earns my living, but also brings me
joy and professional fulfillment.
My professional background is in Human Resources and Training & Education, which are my main specialist translation fields. Having said that, throughout my translation career, I have also worked on multiple documents from within Social Work, Health & Safety or Technical subject areas, so these do not scary me either.
To add to the above variety, I have a particular interest in interior designing and arts & crafts, so would happily take on translation projects from these areas, too!
