I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, where I graduated as an Elementary School Teacher, and worked as a teacher for 3 years before coming to Canada.

After my children were born, I decided to go back to school and study what had always been my passion: Translation.

I received my B.A. in Hispanic Studies and Translation certificate concurrently. I worked for over 18 years as a translator first, later as a Project Manager in a translation agency in Toronto, Canada.

Years later, I was offered a position as a Client Manager in a Vaughan, Canada agency specializing in processing candidates' applications from many parts of the world to come to Canada as temporary workers and caregivers.

I am currently working as a freelance translator and occasional community interpreter. These go hand in hand with dealing with people and providing quality customer service, which I always enjoy.
