containing German and English labels for a good two thousand of the
most commonly encountered German GAAP financial statement line
items, accounting policy and notes disclosure headings, management
report section headings, tax reconciliation items and other
disclosures.

My recommendation is to open the German and English taxonomies in
separate windows to allow comparison of the German and English
labels. Please note that although use of the taxonomy is free of
charge, the taxonomy itself is subject to copyright and may not be
reproduced without permission.

This taxonomy should be extremely useful for financial translators,
as it represents a high-quality bilingual reference resource for
HGB/German GAAP translations.

I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all
those individuals who provided invaluable feedback on an earlier
draft of the English taxonomy labels; my thanks go in particular
to Robin Stocks, Ralf Lemster and Chris Nobes.
